Just like the name promises, this shop across from St. Therese's Church on South Etna has a full array of bagels and spreads, as well as egg sandwiches and pastries at breakfast time. Four Oaks

At the entrance to Montauk Harbor on Flamingo and West Lake Drive, this deli serves up breakfast specials as well a lunch and dinner specials daily. Their home made fresh bagels, flagels and bialys go along fresh-roasted coffee to start your day. For a great break or for after the beach come here for homemade ice cream, smoothies and more. A sweet tooth's dream, Fudge N'Stuff, on the Circle just off Main Street, is jam-packed with goodies, including 30 different kinds of fudge, and, yes, they'll slice you a taste so you can sample until you find your favorite. There's also an eye-popping assortment of old-fashioned penny candy, lollipops, gourmet jellybeans, and cotton candy, hot popcorn, nuts, and chocolate-covered pretzels by the pound. Gaviola's Montauk Market

Under the clock tower at the Montauk docks across from the Viking Ferry, Gaviola's is there for dawn-rising fishermen and late-evening snackers alike. Sandwiches to go, baked goods, produce, soups, salads, and beer as well as those extras needed for a great vacation day. Herb's Montauk Market

Mention Herb's and many recall it's famous fried chicken. Order early to be sure to get yours. Herb's, on Main Street in the Village, also has great sandwiches, finger-lickin' barbecued ribs, rotisserie chicken, a fresh fruit salad bar, prime meats cut to order (including all-natural beef and chicken) and all the rest of the fixings a good old-fashioned deli can provide. Montauk Bake Shoppe, on the Plaza, where devoted customers line up for great coffee and morning sweets. Besides their Famous Jelly Croissant, there is the Cruffin, a muffin-crumb cake with cream cheese and the fruit of the day inside, muffins, cinnamon swirls, and other great choices. Artisanal breads range from a chewy ciabatta to the buttermilk loaf. Breakfast wraps and egg sandwiches available until 1, with iced espresso or cappuccino in the summer. Montauk Beer & Soda at 43 South Elmwood Avenue is stocked to the ceiling with every beverage you can think of, from soda to water to mixers, and a large selection of imported and domestic lagers and ales in six packs or kegs. They also carry BBQ gas, firewood, fire logs, charcoal, chips and ice; bring your packages that need mailing because they ship UPS as well. On S. Euclid St. off Main Street in the Village, offers delicious Spanish take-out, and Italian specialty sandwiches.
