Gurney's

Gurney’s (668-2345) offers live entertainment every night during the Summer. This spring dance to DJ Des and DJ Linda every Friday and Saturday night. In the early evening recapture the classic light swing and romantic standards as the dinner shift ends. Later they'll spin everything from Sock Hop to Hip Hop with great classic disco and club mixes in-between. Karaoke every Thursday night with Jim and Nanci starts at 9pm. No cover charge and drink specials.

The Memory Motel

The Memory Motel has live entertainment Thursday-Sunday, June through Colombus Day weekend. Voted “Best East End Bar...” by Time Out New York 1999. Top local and tri-state bands.

Nick's

Nick’s, (668-4800) open seven days a week in season, offers great food with both live music and DJ, inside and out! Summer weekly highlights include ladies’ nights on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and men's night on Sundays, when pitchers of drinks come cheap. Unmatched anywhere, pole-dancing contests are on Wednesday. Live bands outdoors during weekend afternoons. Oceanfront spot on South Emerson.

O'Murphy's Pub

O’Murphy’s Pub (668-5005), open all year, features live bands throughout the summer and karaoke on Saturdays.

Breezes Cafe

Breezes Café at the Montauk Yacht Club has live music outdoors Fridays and Sundays in season. 668-3100.

Havana Beach Club

Havana Beach Club (668-5574) features live music on weekends in season.

Other Entertainment

Deep Hollow Ranch

Offers a Living History Tour of the Ranch during Spring, Summer and Fall. The tour includes a horse-drawn wagon ride and walking tour. Group Reservations required. Watch working Border Collies expertly herd cattle. Call 668-2744 for information.

Music for Montauk

A nonprofit organization celebrating its 13th season of bringing world-class musical entertainment to Montauk for free. Top quality shows are presented on stage at the Montauk Public School between October and May. The concerts are diverse and interesting with a range of tastes from classical to popular.

Concerts on the Green

Different bands perform every Monday in July and August on the village green. These free concerts start at 6pm. Bring a chair, bring the family, bring a picnic. These informal fun concerts appeal to young and old alike.

Hamptons International Film Festival

The 15th Annual Hamptons International Film Festival, from October 17-21, 2007, presents a wide array of films – narrative, short, and docs. One of the venues is our local Montauk movie theater. There are ample opportunities to stay for a question and answer session with filmakers after the films are presented. Committed to showing films with new views and varying global perspectives, the festival hopes to enlighten as well as connect filmakers to their audiences.

Hamptons Shakespeare Festival

Although this annual event did not occur last year because of construction at Third House, the site of this outdoor festival, we are all hoping that it will again return to Montauk with performances under the stars. You will find updates on this website as they occur.
