Are held aboard the 140 ft. Viking Starship Sundays throughout the summer starting July 3, 2011. These tours are led by Coastal Research and Education Society of Long Island (CRESLI) staff. Our offshore waters have fin, minke, humpback, sei and right whales; common white-sided dolphins, pilot whales, and thousands of pelagic birds. Cost is $69 for Adults and $35 for Children under 12, Kids 4 and under free. The boat has a full restaurant and leaves the harbor at 9:30am with a return at approximately 3:30pm. Walking tours off Montauk Point are held on weekends from late December through mid-April. View these shy creatures on the rocky shores of Montauk Point State Park. New York State observation walks are led by a naturalist explaining seal behavior, bird life, and coastal ecology. Approximately three hours. Fee (subject to change): $5 Adults, $3 Children under 18, and Children under 7 years free. Take your camera and binoculars. Check onmontauk.com for current information.
